Sağlık Hizmetleri Sektöründe Kablosuz Algılayıcı Ağlar

Öz

Kablosuz iletişim ve elektronik alanlarındaki gelişmeler, akıllı ve çok fonksiyonlu olan düşük maliyetli, düşük güç, küçük boyutlu ve kısa mesafelerde iletişim kurabilen algılayıcı düğümlerinin gelişimini sağlamıştır. Bu minyatür algılayıcı düğümlerinin, sınırlı algılama, ölçüm, iletişim ve veri toplama ve işleme özelliklerinin olması, izlenmesi gereken alan üzerinde yoğun bir şekilde ve çok sayıda dağıtılan algılayıcı düğümleri kümesi olan Kablosuz Algılayıcı Ağ (KAA) fikrine yol açtı. KAA'lar, askeri, sanayi, sağlık, acil durum yönetimi ve eğlence gibi birçok alanda çok sayıda hayat değiştiren uygulamalar imkânını sunmaktadır. Araştırmacılar, KAA teknolojisinin tıbbi teknolojileri ile entegre olup sağlık sektöründe uzaktan sağlık gözetimi, evde yardım hizmetleri, yeni nesil klinik araştırmalar için büyük miktarda veri toplanması gibi yeni fırsatları sağlayacağını uzun zaman önce öngörmüşlerdi. Yaygın KAA teknolojileri, birçok yararlı biyolojik, farmasötik ve tıbbi uygulamaları sağlayarak, sağlık maliyetlerini azaltmak için yeni çözümler sunabilir. Bu çalışma, sağlık hizmetleri sektöründe KAA'ların kavramlarını, faydalarını, tasarım sorunlarını ve ihtiyaçlarını ve bu alandaki açık araştırma konularını ele alan, gelecekte yapılacak çalışmalar için yol gösterme anlamında faydalı olacağı umulan özlü bir derleme çalışmasıdır.
