Pers İmparatorluğu’nun İlk Başkenti Pasargadai ve Büyük Kyros’un (M.Ö. 559-530) Anıt Mezarı

Abstract

Özet 1 : Pasargadai,
Pers İmparatorluğu’nun ilk başkentidir. Pasargadai’ın inşasına Büyük Kyros
döneminde başlanmış ve Büyük Kyros’un ölümüyle yarım kalan inşa faaliyetleri I.
Darius zamanında tamamlanmıştır. İran’ın Fars Eyaleti sınırları içerisinde yer
alan Pasargadai’a ilk ziyaret 15. yüzyılın ikinci yarısında yapılmış ve 20.
yüzyılın hemen başında yapılan arkeolojik çalışmalar neticesinde şehrin keşfi
tüm bilim dünyasına duyurulmuştur. Farklı kültür coğrafyalarına ait insanlar
tarafından inşa edilen Pasargadai, yerli mimari özelliklerin yanı sıra çevre
kültürlerin mimari özelliklerine de sahiptir. Pasargadai’da R Kapısı, S Sarayı,
P Sarayı ve Büyük Kyros’un anıt mezarı olmak üzere dört ana yapı vardır. Bu dört
ana yapının haricinde; saray olduğu düşünülen inşası yarım kalmış bir yapı,
dini nitelikler taşıyan bir kule, dört kısımdan oluşan bir saray bahçesi, iki
sütunun yer aldığı bir küçük yapı, A evi ve B evi olarak isimlendirilen iki
küçük yapı ve Orta Çağ’a ait bir kervansaray bulunmaktadır. Çeşitli özellikleri
dolayısıyla Pasargadai’daki en dikkat çekici yapı Büyük Kyros’un anıt
mezarıdır.
